Early Christmas for Malita

It is only a couple of days since Malita arrived home. She will be in Nlhataba Bay together with her mum and the part of the family who lives with them for all the school holiday period. She reached her house together with one of the school teachers. As you may remember, Malita’s life at home is extremely basic, since her mum doesn’t have any means of support.

Knowing that, this morning Stuart, the director of Bandawe School for the hearing impaired managed to go visit her. Also, thanks to Marajowi support, he didn’t go empty handed. It was really an early Christmas present for Malita and her family. Stuart bought 15kg of rice, 2 tins of maize, 3 packets of sugar, 1 kg salt, 15 packs of soya pieces, 5 litres of sobo, 2 litres of cooking oil and many other groceries. Useless to say Malita and her mum were very glad with the unexpected present. They will be able to live properly on this food for all the duration of the Christmas holiday.
