Our motto is ‘The only way to be happy is to give happiness to others’ and we really believe in this. This is the reason why we keep supporting this small group of children and young adults that by now constitute Marajowi’s family.
They keep growing, which means that new school uniforms, clothes and shoes are needed. We regularly send what we can, but shipment comes with a price (80EUR per 10kg of clothes). They keep learning, which means they need school material and support for the school fees, but also with items to store their belonging safely while at school. To keep growing and learning, they of course need to eat. With pricing skyrocketing in Malawi, this is getting more and more complicated. The pocket money we provide the children with is always too little to actually guarantee them more than one healthy meal per day.
While growing and learning, our older kids keep dreaming and having goals. Our smiling Joyce would like to open a beauty saloon, where all the women of the village can go to. Ramos is putting his best effort and his shop and would love to open a computer centre to educate more people on computer skills. Wit is finally happy and satisfied with his job, but he certainly can aim higher. Everything comes with a cost and that is exactly the reason why we ask you to help us help them. Here some possibilities for sponsorships. If you want to contribute by helping us fundraise, that is also fine. You can find some ideas here, but more are always welcome.
Let’s not forget Christmas is coming up and we would love to make it a bit special also for Ramos, Joyce, Wit, Malita, Gift, Katie, Hannah and Stella.
