Stuart has promised us that this year he will give us regular updates on Malita and her School. Luckily the start is promising.
Just last week, Malita was back at school in Bandawe. Apparently, all the shopping which was done for her (and her mother) before she left to Nkhata Bay was really helpful. For the first time, Malita came back to school not only happy, but also healthy.
The good news is also that, this year, the school has three new teachers: one for Agriculture, one for carpentry and one for tailoring. This means that, as soon as they get the material to do that, the school can resume the practical workshops (i.e. vocational skills teaching). That is certainly a good progress!
